Nurse Supervisor

Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a skilled Charge Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe and effective person-centered care on your assigned shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents and their families, focusing on their physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
- Hold staff accountable for quality care and continuous improvement of neighborhood processes and practices.
- Meet regulatory requirements and nursing standards of practice.
- Provide clear and consistent assignments of residents and duties, setting the tone for a productive and professional work environment.
- Collaborate with the staffing office to ensure adequate staff availability for shifts.
- Lead and direct the execution of care plans for residents in your neighborhood, monitoring and partnering with RNs, LPNs, and care associates.
- Monitor new staff completion of orientation and onboarding requirements.
- Participate in performance improvement processes for the neighborhood.
- Proactively round with staff to identify positive execution of duties and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver safe, quality, and person-centered care.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Manager and Staff Education & Training Coordinator to plan and evaluate staff education needs.
- Lead shift meetings to review new policies, processes, or standards.

Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- Graduate from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in continuing care or assisted living facilities.
- Experience documenting in an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system preferred.
