About the Role

IHG Army Hotels Fort Leonard Wood is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Utility person to join our team. As a Maintenance Utility person, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties in guest rooms, public areas, and grounds of the hotel.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform simple maintenance duties, including replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and patching walls.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders for minor repairs.
  • Maintain and repair kitchen/refrigeration equipment, lighting, heating, air conditioning (HVAC), ventilation, and water treatment systems.
  • Ensure the hotel's swimming pool is properly maintained.

Requirements
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Essential language: English
  • Must be able to use various power tools.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and 11:00 pm – 7:30 am shifts.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to lift/carry heavy objects and stand on feet for extended periods.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
