Overview:
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for our specialized Respiratory Therapy Unit.
Shift Details:
Full-Time - 30 hours/week, Day Shift
Role Responsibilities:
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide safe and effective respiratory treatments and medical gas therapy in accordance with established standards of practice to restore optimal pulmonary function.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Demonstrates accountability for personal conduct.
- Engages with both internal and external clients using AIDET methodology.
- Contributes to enhancing customer satisfaction through professional interactions.
- Maintains effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Exhibits professionalism in all interactions.
- Takes initiative for personal and professional development.
- Ensures confidentiality of patient information and adheres to communication protocols.
- Participates in required meetings and training sessions, completing annual competencies.
- Stays informed about organizational updates through various communication channels.
- Collaborates as part of the Sleep Disorders Team while also being capable of independent work.
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Credentials:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist as recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Current state certification to practice Respiratory Therapy.
- Associate degree in applied science or equivalent qualification.
- Maintains NBRC credentials as per Continuing Competency requirements.
- ACLS certification required post-hire if not already obtained.
