Overview:
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for our specialized Respiratory Therapy Unit.

Shift Details:
Full-Time - 30 hours/week, Day Shift

Role Responsibilities:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide safe and effective respiratory treatments and medical gas therapy in accordance with established standards of practice to restore optimal pulmonary function.

Customer Service Excellence:
  • Demonstrates accountability for personal conduct.
  • Engages with both internal and external clients using AIDET methodology.
  • Contributes to enhancing customer satisfaction through professional interactions.
  • Maintains effective communication with all stakeholders.
Professional Standards:
  • Exhibits professionalism in all interactions.
  • Takes initiative for personal and professional development.
  • Ensures confidentiality of patient information and adheres to communication protocols.
  • Participates in required meetings and training sessions, completing annual competencies.
  • Stays informed about organizational updates through various communication channels.
  • Collaborates as part of the Sleep Disorders Team while also being capable of independent work.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education and Credentials:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist as recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Current state certification to practice Respiratory Therapy.
  • Associate degree in applied science or equivalent qualification.
  • Maintains NBRC credentials as per Continuing Competency requirements.
  • ACLS certification required post-hire if not already obtained.
