Job Overview

Contractor Service and Fabrication, Inc. is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in pipe installation, fabrication, and repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out pipe systems, supports, and related equipment according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment using welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, or threading joints.
  • Measure and mark pipes for cutting or threading.
  • Inspect and examine installed systems or pipe lines using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
  • Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.
  • Select pipe sizes, types, and related materials, including supports, hangers, or hydraulic cylinders according to specifications.
Requirements
  • HDPE experience
  • Mechanical knowledge, including machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Design knowledge, including techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Mathematics knowledge, including tables of equivalents and trigonometry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in underground piping
  • Experience in fusion of HDPE piping
  • Knowledge of operating fusion machines
  • Degree and/or certificate in technical training
