We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at Contractor Service and Fabrication, Inc.
The ideal candidate will have experience in underground piping and fusion of HDPE piping.
Key Responsibilities- Lay out pipe systems, supports, and related equipment according to blueprints.
- Interpret pipefitting standards, codes, and specifications.
- Assemble or secure pipes, tubes, fittings, or related equipment using welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, or threading joints.
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting or threading.
- Inspect and examine installed systems or pipe lines using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
- Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.
- Select pipe sizes, types, or related materials, including supports, hangers, or hydraulic cylinders, according to specifications.
- Experience in underground piping and fusion of HDPE piping.
- Knowledge of operating fusion machines.
- Degree and/or Certificate in Technical Training is preferred.
