Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
- Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for seamless project execution.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact, effectively communicating project status to all participants.
- Maintain strong communication and relationship management with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to ensure clarity on project status, challenges, and changes.
Risk Management:
- Conduct risk management to mitigate project risks.
- Create and maintain thorough project documentation.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop a detailed project budget and oversee expenditures.
- Monitor and report on budget performance and project financial health.
- Allocate project resources effectively.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure timely delivery of all projects within scope and budget.
- Perform quality assurance to guarantee that the final product meets established standards.
Performance Tracking:
- Monitor project performance, focusing on the successful completion of both short and long-term goals.
- Utilize appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and inspire project team members to achieve project objectives.
- Identify and address training and development needs within the project team.
Program Analyst Tasks:
- Facilitate onboarding for all new personnel.
- Coordinate and manage the onboarding schedule for new employees.
- Ensure new hires complete all necessary documentation prior to their start date.
- Organize and conduct orientation sessions to introduce new employees to the organization's culture and policies.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant project management experience, plus a BA/BS degree.
- Must possess an active/current Secret clearance.
- Proven experience in financial analysis of projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Project, and SharePoint.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Basic knowledge of SharePoint is desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing projects in an IT environment.
- Experience leading initiatives in a matrixed organization.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
- Professional certification (PMP) is a plus.
