Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatologist to join our team at Children's National Medical Center. As a key member of our hospital-based specialties division, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to research and education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Clinical Services
    • Deliver high-quality patient care in a timely and professional manner.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Lead Clinical Teams
    • Supervise and train clinical professionals and students in neonatal care.
    • Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Contribute to Research and Education
    • Participate in research studies and projects related to neonatal care.
    • Develop and implement educational programs for healthcare professionals and patients.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Experience
    • 0 years of experience required.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Knowledge of current principles, methods, and procedures for delivering medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in neonatology.
    • Ability to function independently in evaluating patient problems and developing care plans.
    • Ability to supervise, advise, and train clinical professionals and students.
  • Licenses and Certifications
    • Fully licensed and credentialed attending staff category physician on the medical staff of Children's National Medical Center.
    • Board certified or eligible for board certification in primary practice specialty.
