About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at SPECTRAFORCE. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and products, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and products using 3D CAD software and 2D drafting techniques.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop and implement design solutions.
  • Conduct testing and analysis to ensure mechanical systems and products meet performance and safety requirements.
  • Author test reports and documentation to support design and development activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software and 2D drafting techniques.
  • Experience designing mechanical assemblies for electronics.
  • Experience with rapid prototype tooling and production tooling.
  • Experience in project management and communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with thermal simulation analysis using ANSYS IcePak and/or Siemens Star CCM.
  • Knowledge of mechanical stack-up analysis and structural load analysis.
  • Experience using mechanical test equipment such as thermal chambers and vibration tables.
  • Experience with engineering project management software such as JIRA and Confluence.
