About the Job
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative mechanical solutions for our diverse range of projects.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of skilled engineers to design, analyze, and implement mechanical systems that meet the unique needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine mechanical designs, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and cost objectives
- Conduct mechanical analyses and simulations to validate design concepts and optimize system performance
- Create prototypes and lead testing efforts to validate designs and ensure they meet project requirements
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, systems, and software engineers, to integrate mechanical solutions into overall project designs
- Identify and address technical challenges, leveraging your expertise to develop effective solutions
- Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on design and analysis
- Proficiency in mechanical design tools and methodologies, including CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) and finite element analysis (FEA)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative approach to overcoming challenges
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared success
Location
This position will be located at Special Teams headquarters in Seattle, WA, and will be required to work in an office during working hours.
