Job Summary:

York County Community Action Corp. is seeking a qualified individual to transport persons to and from their destination for general public Demand Response and Flex Routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist all passengers, including those using mobility devices, on and off the vehicle.
  • Transport passengers to and from their destination in a safe and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all passengers and vehicle statistics.
  • Communicate with clients with courtesy and respect.
  • Comply with Federal drug/alcohol testing requirements and all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Pass a background check, pre-employment physical, and pre-employment drug screen.

Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience.
  • Have route transportation or delivery experience preferred.
  • Have a clean driving record and good defensive driving skills.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
