Job Description
Integrated Community Living and Participation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality, community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and those facing mental health, behavior, or significant medical challenges. As a key member of our team, the Talent Development Specialist- Trainer will play a vital role in supporting our mission.

Responsibilities and Dutives

Facilitate new employee orientation and annual required training for all staff members.

Lead virtual training sessions using Zoom, GoToMeeting, and Teams, as well as assist with technical issues for participating staff.

Effectively utilize computer software, including word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Update our learning management system with completion records, classes, and crucial data.

Monitor all training components, including schedules, documentation, and materials.

Communicate openly and directly with all levels of staff regarding training requirements and needs.

Provide support for other trainers and assist with organizational and departmental in-service training.

Coordinate training services and resources with staff to maximize benefits for individuals served, programs, and staff.

Required Skills and Abilities

A minimum of 2 years of experience or education related to teaching, staff training, development of training programs/curricula, and virtual presentation.

Demonstrate proficient communication and interpersonal skills, as well as decision-making, time management, and organizational skills.

Be willing to travel to conduct necessary training.

Have good computer skills and knowledge of ODP 6400 regulations.
