We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mover / Technician / Restoration Specialist to join our team at ServiceMaster by ASG. As a key member of our restoration crew, you will be responsible for professionally packing homes and commercial spaces after a major catastrophe, such as a fire, flood, mold, vandalism, or hoarder.
Key Responsibilities- Packing and Moving: Pack, move, and unpack personal items from homes and businesses, ensuring that all items are properly inventoried and loaded onto our work vehicles.
- Inventory and Logistics: Inventory and load our work vehicles with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project, ensuring that everything is in working order and easily accessible.
- Supervision and Leadership: Supervise crew members on jobsites, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Moving Equipment and Supplies: Use moving equipment and packing materials to safely and efficiently move items from one location to another.
- Warehouse Operations: Unload trailers and ensure proper placement of items in the warehouse, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Properly document items during the pack-out process, maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all necessary information is captured.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform general on-location cleaning and specialized cleaning at the warehouse, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and crew members.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, being respectful of customers' homes, time, and property, and ensuring that all interactions are professional and courteous.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and easily accessible.
- Physical Demands: Be exposed to various indoor and outdoor working conditions, including changes in temperature and humidity, and be able to stand, walk, lift, squat, crawl, and crouch as needed.
- Physical Abilities: On occasion, move and carry construction materials and supplies weighing in excess of 50 pounds, and use ladders to access areas above ground level.
ServiceMaster by ASG is a local franchise company that provides relief for residential or commercial properties that have suffered water, fire, and mold damage. We are able to handle jobs from start to finish, through the mitigation or abatement process to the rebuild/construction phase.
