Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Professional Development Practitioner to join our team at Saint Agnes Medical Center. As a key member of our clinical education team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our nursing staff and promoting excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement education programs to enhance nursing practice and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to identify education needs and develop targeted solutions.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff to improve clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of education programs.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in nursing professional development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Three years of specialty experience in a clinical area required.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in California required.
  • National certification in area of specialty within 18 months of hire required.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card required.
