The ideal candidate will become part of a dynamic team comprising of multiple clinical geneticists, a biochemical geneticist, a pediatric nurse practitioner, and a group of genetic counselors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outpatient genetics clinics and participate in specialty clinics
  • Provide inpatient consultations and ensure call coverage
  • Engage in learner education activities
  • Collaborate with genetics clinic staff, genetic counselors, metabolic dietitians, metabolic nurses, and social workers
  • Utilize the resources of the Voelcker Clinical Research Center for research endeavors
Requirements
  • Hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree
  • Board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics
  • Possess or acquire a Texas medical license
  • Demonstrate exceptional clinical abilities
