Job Summary:

Sound Community Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Clinician (LCSW/LPC) to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Clinician, you will provide individual and group therapy in a community-based outpatient clinic, utilizing CareLogic software to document all clinical services provided. You will also attend team meetings and clinical supervisions, and provide individual, group, and family therapy to an assigned caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group therapy to adults with severe mental illness, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders
• Document all client contacts in the client's electronic medical record
• Complete client file reviews in a timely manner
• Provide mentorship to students and employees seeking clinical licensure
• Actively participate in supervision, multi-disciplinary team meetings, and agency committees

Requirements:

• Connecticut Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) required
• Experience providing assessments, individual and group therapy, discharge planning, and referral services
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
• CPR/First Aid Certified or eligible
