Job Title: Registered Nurse Specialist, Charge

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Specialist, Charge to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care services to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient care services to patients and their families
  • Use organizational, clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills to assist in managing patient workflow
  • Serve as a role model and clinical expert for the delivery of professional nursing care
  • Provide leadership in developing and maintaining optimal patient care standards
  • Effectively provide age-appropriate patient care
  • Participate in patient/family teaching and provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient team personnel
  • Adhere to and promote organizational policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Certification and licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Ambulatory Care Nurse (ACN) certification
  • ONS-Oncology Nursing Society certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8 years of recent relevant experience
  • Expert knowledge and competence with regard to nursing theories, concepts, and practices
  • Medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Healthcare industry knowledge, safety precaution policies, best practices regarding patient care and privacy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook), electronic health records
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 8 days a week, Monday to Friday. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of organization and time management skills.

The salary range for this role is $57.74 to $83.72 per hour. Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer and offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees.
