Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist provides direct rehabilitation care to patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement occupational treatment plans for patients
  • Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable, timely, and functional goals
  • Oversee and evaluate care given by occupational therapy assistants, rehab aides, and students
  • Chart patient progress and outcomes
  • Utilize therapy software to document patient information and track progress
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
  • Assist in the evacuation of patients during emergencies
  • Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • NBCOT certification upon hire
  • Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (BSOT or MSOT)
  • Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
  • One (1) year experience in post-acute care or related setting preferred
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
