Agropur is seeking a highly skilled Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement across our US plants.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sustainable continuous improvement systems to maintain manufacturing excellence.
- Lead the creation of a new vision for operational excellence, driving transformation and growth within our organization.
- Participate in the implementation of new work methods to minimize operational costs and improve efficiency across manufacturing, quality, warehousing, and maintenance services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, resulting in increased productivity and reduced waste.
- Coach and support operators, line leads, and management teams in developing and executing 90-day plans and future business needs, focusing on continuous improvement and loss elimination.
- Conduct health checks of our Digital Manufacturing System (DMS) and identify measures to improve, ensuring seamless operations across all shifts.
- Participate in daily meetings to identify improvement opportunities and eliminate top losses, driving results and buy-in from operations teams.
- Develop and lead improvement work sessions using our AOS tools, ensuring effective implementation of new processes and monitoring their success.
- Prepare reports and statistics to track progress and inform decision-making.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as manufacturing, engineering, or business.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on continuous improvement, production, quality, or maintenance.
- Proven knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
- Experience in the food consumer packaged goods industry is preferred.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish is preferred.
