Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience in programming and integrating FANUC Robots, Rockwell PLCs, Pro-face and/or PanelView HMIs, and using AutoCAD Electrical for design.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial automation projects.
  • Program and integrate FANUC robots to ensure seamless operation within automated systems.
  • Develop and troubleshoot Rockwell PLC programs to optimize system performance.
  • Configure and integrate Pro-face and PanelView HMIs for user-friendly interface and control.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Electrical to create and modify electrical schematics and panel layouts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide technical support and training to the end users maintenance and production teams.
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and automation equipment.
  • Stay current with advancements in robotics technologies and identify opportunities for innovation.
Qualifications:
  • Degree and experience in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in programming and integrating robots, PLCs, and HMIs.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs and experience in developing and troubleshooting PLC programs.
  • Proficiency in configuring and integrating HMIs.
  • Expertise in using AutoCAD Electrical for designing electrical schematics and panel layouts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
Preferred:
  • FANUC Robotics Experience
  • Allen-Bradley Programming Experience
  • Pro-face HMI Programming
  • FANUC FAPT Ladder
  • Manufacturing Plant Maintenance experience.
  • Previous panel building experience.
  • Working knowledge of advanced shop tools (bandsaw, knee mill, and lathe).
Travel:

Travel to customers manufacturing facilities and training centers as needed (approximately 25%). Overnight travel is sometimes required. Typical locations for travel include but are not limited to Kentucky and Indiana.
