We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Manager to join our team at Central Texas Rehabilitation Hospital. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and communication skills.

Central Texas Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to providing superior patient care and a supportive work environment for our employees. We offer a comprehensive range of rehabilitation services, including physical medicine and rehabilitation programs for patients with stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional leadership and guidance to the nursing department staff.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with all stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate new admissions, including room assignments and staffing plans.
  • Manage staffing levels and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and minimize overtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and optimize patient flow.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field.
  • Current unrestricted state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Minimum two years of experience in nursing leadership or management.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
