About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Healthcare Revenue Cycle Operations Manager to lead our RCM team in maximizing eMDs and client profitability. This role involves ensuring we fulfill contractual obligations while providing high-quality customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and regulations, using collection management systems and reports to monitor accounts receivables.
  • Develop summaries of accounts to determine productivity and staffing levels, identifying underlying issues impacting successful claim collections.
  • Collaborate with managers to develop and implement effective solutions for collections, staying up-to-date on code changes, reimbursement guidelines, and coverage policies.
  • Act as first-level support for patient/client escalations and manage team scheduling, time-off requests, project assignments, and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate new hire setup, infrastructure, third-party vendors, and client training on software processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Considered a subject matter expert in healthcare revenue cycle, with working knowledge of healthcare code sets, clean claim practices, and adjudication processes.
  • Ability to research and follow claims appeal guidelines/processes, understanding the complete healthcare revenue cycle.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and highly proficient in eMDs software offerings.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a minimum of five years' experience in a healthcare billing capacity and three years in a supervisory role.
  • Previous experience with electronic health records/practice management systems required.
  • Coding certificate required or equivalent years' experience.

Compensation and Benefits

This position comes with a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

All employees must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced office environment.
