Job Title: Patient Transportation Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Patient Transportation Specialist to provide safe and professional transportation of patients to and from outpatient treatment daily. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GPS devices and cell phones, as well as excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Transport patients to and from outpatient treatment daily in a safe and professional manner
- Provide transportation for patients to and from medical and needed appointments
- Manage pre and post-trip inspections of vehicles
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
- Participate in developing the continuing care plan with regard to educational placement upon discharge
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- TN Driver License with F Endorsement or Commercial Driver License
- Physical Examination (at least as extensive as the Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for Commercial Drivers)
