Join Our Team as an Auto Body Repair Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Repair Specialist to join our team at Quality Talent Group. As a leading provider of staffing solutions, we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients and candidates alike.
Responsibilities
- Examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan the repair process to ensure timely completion.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to communicate vehicle repair status and ensure seamless execution.
- Perform high-quality repairs while maintaining on-time status, adhering to industry standards and company expectations.
- Make informed decisions regarding repair versus replacement, considering factors such as safety, cost, and cycle time.
- Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical, and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to the vehicle and fenders.
- Participate in all required safety meetings and adhere to company safety protocols.
- File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
- Direct the work of an apprentice in the performance of tasks when needed, explaining procedures and providing guidance.
Qualifications
- Certification in body repair is preferred.
- Knowledge of the vehicle repair process by manufacturer is essential.
- ICAR welding certification is a plus.
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data is required.
- Ability to supervise repair personnel and lead by example.
- Must be able to pass a thorough background check.
