Job Title: Physical Therapist Inpatient/Outpatient

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. The successful candidate will provide high-quality physical therapy services to our patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
  • Conduct physical therapy sessions, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in patient education and training to promote independence and self-care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Assist with quality improvement initiatives and departmental projects.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a School of Physical Therapy approved by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
  • One year of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist.
  • Possession of a valid license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, Physical Therapy Board.

Working Conditions:

This role involves frequent contact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare staff. The employee may be exposed to communicable diseases, toxic substances, and other conditions common to the clinical environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Varied activities, including standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to operate medical equipment and office tools.

Education and Certification:

Graduation from a School of Physical Therapy approved by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association.

Experience:

One year of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist.

License and Certification:

Possession of a valid license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, Physical Therapy Board.
