Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Financial Operations Specialist to provide essential financial management and oversight for our organization. The successful candidate will engage in various activities including cost analysis, financial forecasting, and program control integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive financial management support, focusing on cost analysis, financial forecasting, and performance metrics.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and briefings, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments and external agencies to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Conduct research and provide insights into budget formulation and management throughout the financial lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the development of program documentation, including risk assessments and management plans.
  • Engage in material solution analyses leading to design reviews.
  • Utilize knowledge of financial regulations and guidelines to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze financial data outputs and maintain accurate records for ongoing assessments.
  • Consult with stakeholders regarding financial operations and propose enhancements.
  • Support the management of financial risks associated with programs.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree with twelve years of relevant experience, including five years in a defense-related environment -OR-
  • Bachelor's degree with fifteen years of relevant experience, including five years in a defense-related environment -OR-
  • High School diploma with twenty years of related experience, including eight years in a defense-related environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory; candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
