Role Summary:
We are in search of experienced professionals holding a terminal degree to impart their expertise as an Adjunct Faculty member. This role involves teaching practitioner-oriented programs during various times, including day, evening, and weekend sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver a comprehensive syllabus that aligns with DeVry University standards, ensuring it includes the essential course objectives.
2. Organize, prepare, and continuously update all course materials to maintain relevance and effectiveness.
3. Utilize appropriate technological tools for online learning and course-related software, ensuring accessibility for all students.
4. Exhibit effective communication skills that engage students, clarify concepts, and enhance learning outcomes.
5. Establish clear expectations for the course by publishing course objectives, assignment deadlines, and evaluation criteria.
6. Ensure that examination content corresponds with the established course objectives, maintaining consistency and fairness in grading while providing timely feedback to students.
7. Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a terminal degree (PhD, DBA, JD, Ed.D.) with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the relevant subject area.
- Hold Project Management Certification.
- Credentials must be obtained from an institution accredited by a recognized agency or an equivalent international institution.
- Subject matter expertise and exceptional communication skills are essential.
- Demonstrated motivational and instructional abilities in a diverse and non-traditional educational environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and facilitate the efforts of diverse groups.

Compensation:
Compensation for the Adjunct Professor role is determined by the level of education, credit hours taught per session, and geographical location. Pay typically ranges from $1500 to $2700 per session, with specific hourly rates applicable in certain states.
