Concurrent Enrollment Instructor

Nevada State University is seeking a qualified instructor to teach Teacher Preparation courses to students from Desert Oasis High School through its Concurrent Enrollment Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing course materials, teaching one or more in-person sections of a course, and maintaining regular communication with students, adjunct coordinators, faculty liaisons, and department chairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop course materials, including syllabi, lectures, assignments, and exams.
- Teach one or more in-person sections of a Teacher Preparation course.
- Use Canvas, Nevada State's learning management system, to facilitate instruction and communication.
- Maintain regular communication with students, adjunct coordinators, faculty liaisons, and department chairs.
Compensation: Instructors will be paid $250 per section.

Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- Evidence of a strong commitment to teaching, educational excellence, and mentoring undergraduate students.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to active learning and innovative teaching.
- Previous teaching experience.
