We are seeking a skilled Bolt Up Fitter to join our team at Precision Group Inc. As a Bolt Up Fitter, you will be responsible for tightening and loosening bolts on flange connections and manways as per ISO drawings and work plans.
Key Responsibilities- Tightening and Loosening Bolts: You will be responsible for tightening and loosening bolts on flange connections and manways as per ISO drawings and work plans.
- Installation and Removal of Blinds: You will assist with the installation and removal of blinds as needed for pressure testing purposes.
- Pipe Fitting and Assembly: You will assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications.
- Use of Power Tools: You will use impact wrenches, combination wrenches, and line up pins to install valves and piping spools.
- Safety Protocols: You will actively participate in a strong safety culture, recognize safety hazards and risks, and participate in onsite safety meetings.
- Client Safety Policies: You will follow client safety policies and procedures and be aware of changing conditions on an active jobsite.
- Attention to Detail: You will have high attention to detail to avoid reworks and errors.
- Physical Demands: You will be able to work on elevated platforms and maintain balance when stepping on narrow platforms such as beams and pipes, and perform these activities while wearing an approved full-body harness and lanyard.
- Physical Ability: You must be able to lift and carry awkward objects up to 60 lbs.
- Education and Experience: You will have relevant education and experience in the field of bolt installation and pipe fitting.
