Instrument Fitter Lead needed in Geismar, LA.

MUST have NCCER or MORE THAN YRS of experience as an Instrument Fitter to qualify for this position.

Resume and credentials must be attached to the application for consideration.

English Basic Plus & Site-specific class required.

General Job Description:

To safely and efficiently bend and install pneumatic tubing.

Essential Duties and Skills:

Layout, measure, fabricate and install tubing trays Bend and install single line and group tubing and fittings Assist electricians when needed Ability to recognize and avoid safety hazards and dangers And other assigned duties

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required Must have a valid driver’s license OR state ID  Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision Must possess the ability to speak with customers and various divisions on an as needed basis Must have intermediate knowledge of with Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements, in a given day include, but are not limited to:

ability to sit (%), stand (%) and walk (%) for prolonged periods of time ability to climb ladders (up to %) and work from elevated work surfaces ability to walk up and down stairs (possibly several flights) ability to lift up to pounds when required, wear all necessary PPE and clothing ability to work in all elements (hot, cold, rain, snow, etc.) for prolonged periods of time ability to work around loud noises (ear plugs are provided) up to % of the time while working
