About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Communications Therapist to join our team. This is a 20-25 hour per week role that requires conducting comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments using standardized tests and clinical observations to develop accurate diagnoses.
  • Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate and support patients and families on communication strategies and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Requirements
  • A degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$75,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
