Overview
Randstad Healthcare is partnering with a reputable healthcare facility in southeast Ohio to find a skilled Hospitalist. This role offers a unique opportunity for medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care while enjoying a balanced work-life experience.

Estimated Salary: $250,000 - $300,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description:
As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients admitted to the hospital. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong clinical knowledge. This position involves handling admissions, conducting procedures such as lumbar punctures and endotracheal intubations, and ensuring seamless transitions of care to other healthcare professionals.

Work Environment:
The facility is located less than 2 hours from Columbus, Ohio, and approximately 20 minutes from Parkersburg, West Virginia. The single-coverage setup allows for greater autonomy and flexibility, with minimal supervision required. As a Hospitalist, you will be expected to manage your workload effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
* A valid Medical License
* Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
* Completion of at least 8 hours of stroke Continuing Education Units (CEU) prior to privileges being granted
* Ability to perform various medical procedures, including lumbar punctures and central venous lines
* Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
