- Ensure compliance with medical record standards through accurate self-documentation.
- Administrative Duties:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to voicemails in a timely manner.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal time management.
- Greet and check in patients, verify insurance status, and confirm the purpose of the visit.
- Update and file patient medical records as necessary.
- Handle correspondence, including emails and patient portal communications.
- Record billing information, complete insurance forms, and address insurance inquiries.
- Collect patient payments and manage related transactions.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical environment, or completion of relevant college coursework.
- Proven competency in managing clinic patients with a high degree of professionalism.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with confidentiality and sensitivity.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in operating a computer keyboard, iPad, printer, and office phone.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic and medical terminology.
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
