    • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal time management.
    • Greet and check in patients, verify insurance status, and confirm the purpose of the visit.
    • Update and file patient medical records as necessary.
    • Handle correspondence, including emails and patient portal communications.
    • Record billing information, complete insurance forms, and address insurance inquiries.
    • Collect patient payments and manage related transactions.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical environment, or completion of relevant college coursework.
  • Proven competency in managing clinic patients with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with confidentiality and sensitivity.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Working Standards and Conditions:
  • Proficiency in operating a computer keyboard, iPad, printer, and office phone.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic and medical terminology.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
