About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Transitional Care Unit team at Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, Washington. As a Registered Nurse, you will work alongside an interdisciplinary team to provide whole-person quality care to patients in need.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress, identify potential complications, and take appropriate action to prevent or mitigate them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education sufficient for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington.
  • Current Washington Registered Nurse License.
  • Within 30 days of hire, obtain National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Food Handler's Permit.
  • 1 year of Med-Surg experience (Acute vs Sub-Acute).
  • Supervisory experience with nursing assistants/CNAs.
