About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Transitional Care Unit team at Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, Washington. As a Registered Nurse, you will work alongside an interdisciplinary team to provide whole-person quality care to patients in need.

You will be empowered by our shared governance model, which includes nursing staff in the process of creating practice standards and expectations. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Department

Our Transitional Care Unit is an intermediate and high-acuity department that facilitates recovery from serious injury, illness, disease, or medical condition. We guide and care for patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs before they are able to return home, preparing them for the road ahead.

Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care in a comfortable and home-like setting for our patients. We are an interdisciplinary haven for healthcare professionals interested in handling medical complexities in a more comfortable and home-like setting for the patients.

Required Qualifications
  • Education sufficient for licensure
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Food Handler's Permit
  • 1 year Med-Surg experience (Acute vs Sub-Acute)
  • Supervisory experience with nursing assistants/CNAs
