Job Title: Safety Manager

MV Transportation is seeking a highly skilled Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our passengers, employees, and assets.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety programs and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Lead the division in safety organization, including classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction.
  • Review and analyze accident and incident reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide functional expertise in safety regarding hiring and training of safety department exempt employees.
  • Ensure that all safety manuals, programs, policies, and practices are current and meet the needs of the operating divisions.
Qualifications:
  • Five (5) + years of current experience in a related transportation industry.
  • One-year accident/injury-free driving experience.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • Possess leadership abilities.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Extended transportation experience.
  • Experience teaching/instructing or public speaking experience.
  • Computer experience.
