About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Teal Becker and Chiaramonte, CPAs, P.C. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in providing accounting, auditing, and tax services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planning and fieldwork procedures in accounting and auditing engagements, including client inquiry, analytics, and testing.
  • Prepare financial statements, federal and state income tax returns, and other governmental filings as necessary.
  • Perform basic accounting functions, including bookkeeping and reconciliations.
  • Research accounting and tax standards and applicable legislation.
  • Build communication skills with internal teams and management, and start to build relationships with clients.
  • Oversee staff accountants and interns on assigned engagements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
  • 150 relevant credit hours and on the CPA career track, working towards obtaining your CPA License.
  • At least one year of relevant professional work experience.
  • Strong computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, energetic, and a desire to learn.
  • Ability to excel in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $85,000 annually, a standard day shift in an office environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Location

This position is based in Albany, NY, and requires a valid driver's license.
