About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Subcontracts Administrator, Sr. to join our team at Lockheed Martin Space. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all artifacts necessary to build a compliant procurement document are present and adequate.
  • Engage with the Subcontracts Manager Peer Reviewer to ensure compliant packages are presented.
  • Engage with Subcontracts Manage Compliance for process compliance.
  • Help develop subcontract specifications, statements of work and scope.
  • Research and evaluate procurement sources and qualification.
  • Manage Compliant Placement of Purchase Orders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years experience, OR equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e. Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, and/or Category Management).
  • Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Management or related from an accredited college or university.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e. Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, and/or Category Management).
  • Previous LM subcontracts/supply chain experience as a buyer or SCA.
  • Previous professional experience with the procurement and management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of standard acquisition policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure.
  • Self Motived with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks/assignment.
  • Possess effective relationship building skills with peers, leadership and suppliers.
  • You bring positivity and enthusiasm to every project you touch. In addition to the work, you love being part of a team and working collaboratively through the process.
  • Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
