Key Responsibilities- Conduct and publish high-quality research in finance, with a focus on nationally recognized contributions to the field.
- Teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with a focus on excellence in teaching and student outcomes.
- Engage in service to the department, school, and university, including committee work, advising, and community outreach.
- Maintain a strong commitment to internal and external service, including collaborations with industry partners and academic institutions.
- Ph.D. in Finance from an AACSB-accredited school.
- Evidence of ongoing research and a record of top-tier publications in finance.
- A record of teaching effectiveness and student outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience in supervising and advising doctoral students.
- Evidence of a strong commitment to internal and external service.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, a substantial research fund, and access to Ph.D. research assistance and administrative support. The Endowed Chair will also have the opportunity to work with a talented and diverse group of students, faculty, and staff at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
