We are seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our elite team as a Registered Nurse. In this position, you will provide direct nursing care in alignment with the established policies, procedures, and protocols of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with the established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Develop and monitor patient care plans, documenting and communicating patient conditions as necessary.
  • Act as the primary coordinator for all disciplines involved in delivering well-coordinated patient care.
  • Execute physician and nursing orders effectively.
  • Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development through formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Required Certifications:

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) must be provided upon hire.
  • For positions in Critical Care, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA is required upon hire or within the first year of employment.
  • RNs in specialized areas must obtain relevant certifications within specified timeframes as outlined by the organization.

Work Complexity:

  • Requires strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently.
  • Must be capable of functioning in a high-pressure environment and responding appropriately.

Experience Requirements:

  • External candidates must possess two years of recent nursing experience.
  • Internal candidates with less than two years of experience may be considered following a review by the Chief Nursing Officer.
  • Successful completion of all pre-screen competency assessments is required.
  • Military RN experience will be considered.

Physical Demands:

  • Requires full body motion, including lifting and handling patients, as well as manual dexterity and coordination.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges.
  • Must be able to work under stress and during irregular hours.
  • Exposure to communicable diseases and/or bodily fluids is possible.
  • Physical demands exceed those for light work.

  • Adhere to standard precautions and utilize personal protective equipment as required.
