Job Title: Quality Inspector Level 1

At Precision Castparts Corp, we are seeking a Quality Inspector Level 1 to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Job Summary:

The Quality Inspector Level 1 will perform basic mechanical inspections, including dimensional checks and process verifications. You will work under direct supervision and will be responsible for interpreting work orders, process certifications, and other drawings. You will also have a good working knowledge of inspection tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic mechanical inspections, including dimensional checks and process verifications
  • Interpret work orders, process certifications, and other drawings
  • Work safely under functional safety guidelines, including PPE and equipment interaction
  • Perform basic shop math and blueprint reading
Requirements:
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Basic shop math and print reading
  • Intermediate knowledge of inspection tools and applications
  • Typically 1-2 years of experience
  • GED or High School diploma preferred but not required
