Position Overview:
This role involves assisting patrons in the purchase and redemption of tickets for events hosted at the UPMC Events Center.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is set at $12.50.
Benefits for Part-Time Roles:
Eligible employees will have access to a 401(k) savings plan along with matching contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process ticket orders received via counter, phone, and mail utilizing various components of the ticketing system.
2. Adhere to established protocols for financial and ticket reconciliations at the conclusion of each shift.
3. Deliver precise facility information and exceptional customer service to guests.
4. Undertake additional organizational and administrative tasks as directed by management.
5. Execute other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
1. Proven ability to operate independently in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
2. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with comfort in public interactions.
4. Previous experience in sales and customer service is preferred; experience in ticket sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
5. Basic proficiency in computer operations.
