Job Title: Senior RF Sensors Electronics Support Engineer

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Sensors Electronics Support Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, FL. As a key member of our RF Sensors & Effects sub-IPT, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and testing RF sensors onto and into airborne platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model-based systems engineering using Cameo and performing analytical work
  • Working within Cameo, DOORs, Rhapsody, writing requirements, and tracing requirements through various levels
  • Collaborating with electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands)
  • Working with sensor providers/suppliers
  • Positioning in a small team with a diverse and significant set of requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 9 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering
  • Master's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 7 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering
  • Ph.D. and 4 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering
  • Active DoD Secret clearance that is in-scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years)
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR)
  • Ability to travel 0-25%
  • Experience with Electronics Warfare subsystem or Experience with RF design

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 14 years with Bachelor's in Science; 12 years with Master's; 9 years with Ph.D.
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Experience with Cameo, DOORs, Rhapsody, writing requirements, and tracing requirements through various levels
  • Knowledge of electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands)
  • Knowledge of DoDAF and system scenarios

Salary Range: $92,600 - $139,000

Annual Bonus: Eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
