About the Role:

The School Nurse is a vital member of our team, responsible for promoting the emotional, mental, physical, and social well-being of students. This role involves maintaining a safe and healthy environment, providing medical care, and collaborating with teachers and staff to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote optimal wellness and remove health-related barriers to learning
  • Provide medical care, first aid, and health education to students
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success
  • Supervise health paraprofessionals and other health staff

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Current Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License - School Nurse
  • Registered nurse license in the State of Colorado
  • CPR certification
