Job Summary

Lowe's Companies is seeking a highly skilled Merchandising Assistant Store Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive a world-class shopping experience while working in a clean, safe, and well-stocked store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Anticipate and respond to customer flow and work demand to ensure proper coverage and in-stock position.
  • Plan and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct safety walks and monitor use of store power equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Lead a team of associates to achieve sales and margin goals while driving operational efficiencies.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience leading associates in a retail environment.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment.
  • 1+ year of experience performing manager-on-duty responsibilities, including management of daily store operations and processes.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience leading service associates in a retail or consumer service industry.
  • 3+ years of experience performing manager-on-duty responsibilities, including management of daily store operations and processes.
  • Experience working in the home improvement retail sector.
  • Broad knowledge of interior/exterior product categories.
  • Experience working with store computer systems.
