Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive nursing and medical services to patients in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit, Cardiothoracic Acute Ward, and Pre/post-operative Clinics
- Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescribe pharmacologic agents and treatments, and provide non-pharmacologic therapies in a cost-efficient manner
- Work autonomously and collaboratively with healthcare professionals to diagnose and manage clients' healthcare problems
- Serve as a healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate
- Master's Degree in Nursing required
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Current California Registered Nurse License and current certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current BCLS and PALS from the American Heart Association certification required
- Eligible for Furnishing License required
