Pediatric Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner

Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Heart Institute. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive nursing and medical services to patients in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit, Cardiothoracic Acute Ward, and Pre/post-operative Clinics.
- Work autonomously and in collaboration with surgeons to diagnose and manage acute and chronic diseases, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans.
- Serve as a healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate, demonstrating a commitment to a patient and family-focused model of care.
- Master's Degree in Nursing required.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Current California Registered Nurse License and current certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current BCLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Eligible for Furnishing License.
- A competitive salary range of $137,072.00-$246,854.00.
