We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team at Cosentino Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and sales strategy of our Long Island, NY location.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the center's operations, including sales, profitability, and team management.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and local distributors.
- Manage and monitor the center's financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Lead by example and provide guidance and support to the Operations Manager and other team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- 5+ years of sales experience, with a minimum of 2+ years in the stone industry.
- 2+ years of experience in managing staff and leading teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interact with multiple levels of the organization.
- Ability to read and understand financial statements, as well as CRM systems and other software applications.
