Key Responsibilities:
- Interview patients, record and update medical information in the EMR system
- Perform basic and routine ocular measurements and diagnostic tests
- Answer patient questions and provide information without medical advice
- Escort patients to procedure rooms and assist with administrative tasks
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Formal education and/or experience in Optometry or Ophthalmology preferred
- Previous experience in a medical practice preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Cantonese required, Mandarin a plus
