As an Ophthalmic Technician at Rendr, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing patient intake information for accuracy and making corrections as needed
- Preparing patients for ophthalmology examinations by checking pretests and dilating pupils
- Communicating results to attending physicians and preparing reports and tests
- Answering patient questions and providing support during examinations and procedures
- Assisting physicians with charting and transcribing results into our electronic health record
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of practical experience as an Ophthalmic Technician
- Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
