Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented People and Governance Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our People and Governance department, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR and governance functions.

Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Support
  • Manage our HRIS database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to employees.
  • Process bi-monthly payroll and administer benefits, including adding/terminating benefits and reconciling benefits bills.
  • Coordinate on-boarding and off-boarding of new employees, administering our online on-boarding tool and serving as the main point of contact.
  • Respond to information requests, including employment verification requests and salary and benefits surveys.
  • Provide administrative support, including processing invoices and scheduling meetings.
Governance Support
  • Administer our Governance webpages and database system, updating webpages and organizing governance documents.
  • Support the Manager, Governance & Board Liaison with committee/volunteer management, including assisting with our Awards Committee.
  • Provide administrative support, including submitting expense reimbursements and preparing for our Annual Meeting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in human resources or business-related field, or equivalent combination of work/educational experience.
  • 1-2 years' work experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Experience using a CMS or AMS is an asset.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Salary: $31.12 per hour
